    We all got out of Toni's car and thanked her for driving us to the school. She went to go find a parking lot as we waited at the entrance, the school hadn't opened up yet and many students were eager to get inside.     "So, Bonnie, who did you take to the dance?" I asked, then winked.     Bonnie twirled her hair, then mocked a Taiga Pop star, "Oh jus' a BEA-U-tiful horse babe."     We giggled and gossiped about each other's dates to the dance and talked about our outfits extensively. The school opened the doors to us and we all flooded in, not orderly like the school imagined we would do. Everyone was excited to have fun at The Fall Ball. The romance, the drama, how preposterous! Cobalt took my hand as we gave some students who were sitting at a booth some money to get into the dance.     "Bet your old school didn't have dances like ours," Cobalt challenged.     "Well, we had dances, but they weren't anything special, plus ...

    I put on a light yellow dress shirt (one of Hazel's), a pair of black jeans, a violet bowtie (my ex Uncle Hubert's), and a darker colored pair of my tennis shoes, which were also violet colored. I placed a white pearl earring (also Hazel's) in one of my ears and I looked in the mirror. Other ear? Hmm... no... other ear agh,  I argued with myself. I decided to put an earring with the NonBinary colors on them in the other ear.     "Mac dear! Cobalt's here!" Hazel called from downstairs.     I brushed my hair and freshened up, a nice lavender perfume would do, maybe not,  I choked on the strong odor that emitted from the bottle, nevermind.  I made my way down the ladder and walked slowly down the stairs that led to the front hallway.     "Who am I going to live with?" Cobalt began, "What about Daisy?"     "Everything is going to be fine sweetie," Mrs. Lupin replied, "We'll figure all that out later."     Hearing the news that Mr. Lupin had been fired was shocking, but we all kind of expected that he was going to lose his job over this.     "As for you kids, you can return back to your classes, it should be the middle of 3rd hour," Mrs. Chordata sent us on our way.       We left our parents (and my aunt) in the Conference room with the lawyers. As we walked away, Cobalt laughed nervously and said, "Sorry about all this Mac, I didn't want them to see that side of me."     I took Cobalt's hand and leaned onto his shoulder, Cobalt pulled Monty beside him and we all made our ways to our classes. Monty took off to his Sociology class and Cobalt walked me down to Botany with Mx. Meles. We stopped outside of my classroom and Cobalt sighed.   ...

I answered in defeat.     My dad glared over at me and opened his mouth to speak, but Chordata held her hand up to stop him and said, "I understand why you had your friend write those missing parts for you, it isn't the first time he has done this."     "What!?" Monty's dad exclaimed.     "DAD! I only wanted to help Mac!" Monty cried, his eyes darted toward Cobalt who had his head down on the table, his ears rested flat, "can't you see what this is doing to us!?"     "Montimer, this has to be done," Monty's dad replied, "I can't have you doing this again."     "I recall that Monty helped Cobalt in my class in an attempt to help raise my son's grade," Mr. Lupin said while in deep thought.     "That's because of YOUR harsh grading!"     "Are those lawyers!?" I gawked, I'd never ever seen someone in such fancy clothing like this before, especially since this is an actual investigation.     "Shouldn't we be heard in a courtroom?" Aunt Hazel asked.     "This will be fine, my client has requested a private investigation," Delgado motioned to Mr. Lupin.     "This is Mr. Aguila and Mr. Delgado, Macadamia, Mr. Aguila is here for you and Mr. Delgado is here for Conall," Mrs. Chordata answered my question, "and yes, this is a private investigation, not a court case, if this does get out of hand, there will be something in the paper about it."     That last bit sounded quite threatening, Delgado just let out a smirk, he knew his paper would benefit if the investigation was taken to court.     "Then, let us begin," Mr. Aguila requested. Mrs. Aguila hadn't mentioned to me that her husband was also a lawyer, I guess that makes the most sense.     "Let...

    It has come to my attention that I don't necessarily have that much content for the character files, mostly because way back in the wonderful land of 2019, I had no plans for my characters, so I just drew them, a lot of the characters I had made back in 2019 either were just simple fun warm ups or were going to be a part of a completely different story, times have changed and I'm much more focused on the current story and development of Forest City. I do like the Character Files, like, A LOT! I want to do more with drawings and other designs, but I will save some other character designs for later because: 1. I either don't have enough drawings to make a file 2. I don't necessarily know the 5 W's and 1 H about the characters specifically, so I may get around to the few And... 3. I haven't updated some of these designs, like, at all, let me explain...     So the "final" drawings on the character files are not the actual final designs, these are conce...

    This is a little announcement about the blog and the current update for everything. I wanted to talk about some things with my blog and the schedule, along with some new stories I want to introduce, I also would like to plug in, Crow's blog, as that is going to be the rehome to this current blog, I would like the mechanics to remain the same, it just is more different. I also would like to give out a little warning about Crow's blog as it is a little more mature (with the themes I will write about in my Invader Zim character).     Currently, the schedule for the blog is Chapters post on Mondays and Fridays at 3PM, Character Files will post on Wednesdays at 12PM every two weeks. I like this schedule a lot, but Character Files may not be a thing I work on anymore, either that or I will start it back up after or during summer, it's just that I have a lot to do right now and it is in the back of my head, plus the first Character File is a mess, but it is a trial run ...

    "You."     I can't stop thinking about this morning mostly because 1. Aunt Hazel would kill me if she found out Monty was over and 2. Cobalt asked me to the dance!!! I couldn't take my eyes off of him in Homeroom class, he even sat with my on the bus!!! Every single time I look over at him, my face flushes red.      I felt a tap on my shoulder that was followed by a, "Mac, the Principal wants you down to her office, ASAP."     I turned to see Mrs. Lanigera, her eyes were worried and full of dread, I wondered what had happened that she was so worrisome about.     I picked up my backpack and pulled it onto my shoulders, Lanigera handed me a hall pass and wished me good luck. Cobalt just stared, it was almost like he knew what was wrong.     I began to panic once I left Homeroom, I walked as slowly as I could to the Main Office. I turned around the corner to see if anyone was walking or could see me, Toni was in the halls at her locker, late ...

    I woke up to the sound of my window being pounded on, Monty had spent the night writing some of the missing parts of my story to make them up for me. I told him to type them instead so that Mr. Lupin wouldn't be so suspicious. Monty had bounded his way up the stairs, when he reached the ladder, he stopped, then opened the hatch. I watched from my bed, as Monty's head appeared from the floor, almost like a groundhog coming up to check its shadow.     "You gonna get that?" Monty asked, "He's been pounding on that window all morning!"     "I uh... who's there?" I asked.       Monty gave me a look of confusion then he said, "Go to the window! I'm still working on making your story cooler!"     "Alright, alright, what time is it anyway?"
