Character File Bonnie O'Hare (and a little Cobalt) 2/3

     I almost was tempted not to share these sketches because I don't think they fit into the character file...standards?  These are the weird middle child images that I kind of like, it's like when you look back at your old art and say, "Hey I actually think this is good." The Bonnie designs in these illustrations are actually similar to the new design, I kind of like her face shape a lot in these drawings. Anyway, freshman/sophomore year is a big part of the story, a major plot point happens, that I feel is necessary to showcase my design process. I won't go too much into detail with my ideas and process behind these images, as they are mostly just kind of generic like, I added the heart hair clip, that disappeared from existence.

 

Incarnation 5: This illustration was done on October, 17, 2020. Despite the old look of this artwork, I really like the face on Bonnie, it has this level of teen awkwardness to it that I want from this time of her life, now slap some braces on there and some acne and we're done. I'm just kidding, there is some of the old Forest City style in this piece that is rather charming. Oh, and this isn't how these two first met.

Incarnation 6: This one was done on October 19, 2020 and is just a full body image of Bonnie. Also her high heels are here which I enjoy, she doesn't have polka dot stocking here either. I don't have much else to say about this one other than the fact that I like the pose here. Bonnie looks super cute here. :)
