Read this before reading the comic

Author's note: This is a first draft of the story (and soon to be script) of my comic, so it may have some rough story parts in it, I am aware of how short some chapters are and how meaningless they can be. I hope to fix these issues when I get to writing the details in.

    Forest City is a "comic" about a young Non Binary teenager named Macadamia Summerwood. They struggle with adjusting to a new city and attempting to express themselves. Mac goes through struggles in school, at home, and with drama that happened before they arrived in Forest City.

    For a little bit of reference, every single character is not going to be listed on here anymore, that will be a completely different blog post for the future, but here is a list of the more important characters to keep in mind:

-Mac: The protagonist of the story, they move to Forest City because of some family issues surrounding Mac's gender.

-Cobalt: Mac's first friend in Forest City, he later becomes a love interest.

-Mr. Lupin: Cobalt's stressed out father, the English teacher at FCHS, he has been known to fail students he doesn't like.

-Monty: Another one of Mac's new friends, possibly secretly evil under all of those feathers.

-Aunt Hazel: Mac's aunt, who else were you expecting her to be, she takes in Mac.

-George Summerwood: Mac's father, he is funny and goofy, like most Mid Western fathers, but secretly is very biased, let's hope he becomes more accepting.

-Bonnie: Cobalt's ex girlfriend, who may have lingering feelings for her ex. She is snobby, likely taking after her mother, and is extremely popular at school (but is she really). Her brother went missing after an incident and most people just like Bonnie because they know she is struggling with her missing brother.

-Midge: Bonnie's biggest supporter, head of the drama department, she has English with Mac and is a huge nag to them and the teacher.

-Toni: A friend of Mac's, not much is known about Toni, except that she is a trans woman and has a crush on someone, it may be the reason why there is a pink stripe in her hair.

Forest City Chapter 9 -Liar-

    It was around 3:52 when Aunt Hazel and I arrived back at her apartment. She has 8 minutes to get ready for tea with the ladies and I had already made my way up the stairs and into my room, remembering to not hit my head on the ceiling. I gazed out the window, hoping that Cobalt would be waiting, his lights were off and I didn't get to see his handsome blue eyes. Forest City 2 Chapter 1 -October-

    It has been a month since Bonnie's disastrous birthday party, she hasn't talked to me since then, I don't blame her. I stepped over a few piles of dirty laundry in my room and opened my big dresser and all of it's glorious drawers. As a kid, I used to play in dresser drawers, I mostly rummaged through my parents and sisters dressers looking for something fun in them. I never was allowed in my brother's rooms, but I'm sure all that I'd find in their dressers are a bunch of old superhero comics or... I don't know... nut free snack foods. My brother Sorrel is a topic of conversation, he's deadly allergic to tree nuts, which is ironic because, well, we're squirrels. I threw that thought out of my brain, none of my clothes were clean, all my drawers were empty, and most importantly, Aunt Hazel was out of town.
