     -Slight spoilers for Forest City Book 5-      Happy New Years everyone!!! Some new developments have happened with Forest City and I am SO happy to announce that Book 5 is working out pretty well. I have been taking it a little slow with these chapters because I am trying my best to do the following: Redeem Bonnie Tora/Mac connection Fixing the Tora/Caspian situation Art school and Monty's mom The missing painting Cobalt's art project Midge and the school play (this will occur in Book 6)     As for the 1st of January...snow...snow...SO MUCH SNOW! This is kind of a hard time for me to be able to post chapters and work on chapters. This is mostly because of the imminent snowstorm that is headed my way. Let's hope that my wifi doesn't go out or my power goes out, both of those things will not be good in general. Forest City 3 Chapter 16 -Instant Regret-

    I decided to head to the library with Monty, Mac was packing for a trip that they were going to take, so I decided that I would "fill in" for them today. Monty had talked about having after school meetings at the library, it was Saturday, the week before finals, I imagine he would want to have study times with Mac and I, as we haven't been doing particularly great this year. But... it was something else, something was on Monty's mind. We went to the back of the library, as usual, but when he sat down, something was off with him, almost as if he was waiting to tell me some life changing detail about himself.     "I was hoping that Mac wouldn't be here for this," Monty began, "Guess my wish came true."     "Why do you say that," I replied resisting the urge to growl, I wasn't particularly on good terms with him after what Mac had told me at my house on Monday.     Monty's eyes darted around the library, he was looking around...

Character File: Cobalt

    Two of my main kinds of inspiration came from video games and movies/TV shows. Cobalt is kind of a mix between 2 characters I love very dearly. The first character is Gregg from Night in the Woods, a video game I would highly suggest to almost anyone, that's kind of the reason why Cobalt used to be a coyote (you'll see). The second character being Nick Wilde from Zootopia, this is more personality based, I find Nick to be a flawed character who grows throughout the movie and I highly enjoy his friendship between Judy and him. As you can see, a lot went into making Cobalt's character, I wanted to be very careful with him specifically, as shown in some of his chapters. I do want to point out that blue wolves do not exist in nature, but I like to think that it's more of a lighting thing, I imagine that Cobalt, in real life, would be more of a gray color that is slightly blue kind of like a Russian Blue cat.
