Forest City 2 Chapter 15 -Dressed up and Fancy-

    I put on a light yellow dress shirt (one of Hazel's), a pair of black jeans, a violet bowtie (my ex Uncle Hubert's), and a darker colored pair of my tennis shoes, which were also violet colored. I placed a white pearl earring (also Hazel's) in one of my ears and I looked in the mirror. Other ear? Hmm... no... other ear agh, I argued with myself. I decided to put an earring with the NonBinary colors on them in the other ear.

    "Mac dear! Cobalt's here!" Hazel called from downstairs.

    I brushed my hair and freshened up, a nice lavender perfume would do, maybe not, I choked on the strong odor that emitted from the bottle, nevermind. I made my way down the ladder and walked slowly down the stairs that led to the front hallway. Cobalt was chatting with Aunt Hazel, he looked handsome as ever in his white dress shirt and light blue tie (also my Uncle Hubert's, that Cobalt stole from Hazel), he wore a navy blue vest and some black dress pants with black dress shoes. I had a feeling that under that vest was a pair of suspenders, he's always wearing suspenders. Cobalt had his blue trench coat folded up in his arms and he was leaning up against the our front door, the red of the door helped Cobalt pop out of the foyer.

    I smiled and waved at this handsome figure that waltzed right into my house like a black cat on a rainy evening.

    "We cordially invite you to the Fall Ball with us," Monty joked while bowing in the living room.

    Cobalt laughed and took my hand and led me down the staircase being careful to not let me trip.

    "PICTURES!!!" Hazel squealed like a child or a pig.

    "Ah, we really should get-" Cobalt tried to talk Hazel out of taking pictures.

    "OOOH I LOVE PICTURES! I DID THE SAME THING WITH CLOVE!" the whole neighborhood could practically hear Aunt Hazel screaming.

    We stood uncomfortably in the clashy living room, Hazel got multiple pictures of Cobalt and I, the three of us, and even one with Tobi, who had requested to stay out in the carpool. Hazel waved goodbye to us all as we made our way into Tobi's van.

    "Sorry, about the mess in the trunk, band practice and all," Tobi apologized.

    That's when I noticed Bonnie in the van, she waved at me as I got in the middle between her and Cobalt. I felt quite uncomfortable being in the same car as Bonnie after all I had done to her. I hope this car ride goes by quickly or else I might vomit.
