Forest City 3 Chapter 6 -What in Carnation-

    Monty sat down at the kitchen table and began filling out his work. I couldn't exactly make out his expression, but he looked almost bored.
    "So, Monty," I began the conversation, "What's up?"
    "Nothing much," Monty answered, then he looked up into my eyes, he looked almost worried.
    "Is... uh... something wrong?" I asked.
    "No," he wouldn't budge, returning back to the work.
    "What colors should we use for the water?" I chimed in just thinking about all the colors we could use purple, blue, yellow, green, red, pink, any color we could think of besides yellow of course.
    "Any one will work, you decide," Monty trailed off awkwardly.
    I began to file through the cabinets inspecting them and looking all over the place for food dye. Every cabinet was full of some sort of dish from tea pitcher to literal sippy cups, I wonder what those were doing in here. I reached back in one of the counters and met up with a box of old sprinkles, Hazel wasn't super big into baking, mainly because she would always say when I asked, "There isn't a need to bake." I think she used to bake ten years ago, but not anymore. I found a box of food dye next to it. We had four carnations to color and only three colors red, blue, and green, it's funny that the yellow is missing. I set the box of food dyes on the table we could make red, blue, green, and purple carnations.
    "There we are, we have four colors," I shouted.
    "Cool," Monty trailed off again.
    "Monty... what's up?" I asked again.
    He sighed and raised his voice, "I don't know, I just feel left out all of a sudden, I've never only had three friends, we used to have more and it was a lot easier then, now... it seems that Cobalt and you are always together and I'm being forgotten."
    "Monty," I sighed and slumped down into the kitchen chair, "I wish you didn't feel that way, I don't know how to make things easier."
    "I can't force you to break up with Cobalt, that would be wrong," Monty continued, "I just... want to be included."
    "I know it seems kind of difficult, but we can work it out, maybe we'll find a way to work it out." I finished, "now let's work on this project."

    wait what? i thought they...huh???? HUH????????????? but didnt they **break up**? at the end of volume 2????

    "Do you think... you can do that for me?" Cobalt asked silently. His blue eyes met mine.

    "I love you man, but... not in that way," I said in return, "I just want to be your friend."

    ok yeah so does monty just not know they broke up then??

    It was around 3:52 when Aunt Hazel and I arrived back at her apartment. She has 8 minutes to get ready for tea with the ladies and I had already made my way up the stairs and into my room, remembering to not hit my head on the ceiling. Forest City 2 Chapter 1 -October-

    It has been a month since Bonnie's disastrous birthday party, she hasn't talked to me since then, I don't blame her. I stepped over a few piles of dirty laundry in my room and opened my big dresser and all of it's glorious drawers. As a kid, I used to play in dresser drawers, I mostly rummaged through my parents and sisters dressers looking for something fun in them. I never was allowed in my brother's rooms, but I'm sure all that I'd find in their dressers are a bunch of old superhero comics or... I don't know... nut free snack foods. My brother Sorrel is a topic of conversation, he's deadly allergic to tree nuts, which is ironic because, well, we're squirrels.
