Forest City Chapter 7 -Detention-

"What's Bonnie's big deal with Cobalt," I asked Monty, it seems like lunchtime is the only part of the day that we didn't have Bonnie's green eyes glaring at us for talking about Cobalt.     "You heard her," Monty said then mocked Bonnie, "'You better stay away from him!' He's nothing, but trouble!'"     "Alright Bonty!" I teased, "I get it now!"     "She's pretty insecure about her whole fling with Cobalt."     "Why? She dated him for two years, then she cheated on him."     "Exactly, she blames Cobalt for all of her problems, she can't take any accountability for her own-"     "Man, you guys really do gossip as much as they say you do," Bonnie began.     I stood up, who does she think she is, following us around, commenting on every little thing we do.     "That will be enough of this Bonnie!" I heard a familiar voice from across the lunchroo...

It's great to know that Cobalt, Monty, and I have the same homeroom together. Forest City Chapter 5 -Bus-

The bus stop was any generic bus stop you would expect, I only had to walk a few feet to the bus stop. There was a little white sign posted that had a picture of a bus printed on it, this showed me where all the stops were. In the corner of my eye I saw a blue wolf approaching me, Cobalt wasn't lying about going to Forest City High School. We said our morning hellos and both stood in an awkward silence until the bus stopped before us.     Cobalt hopped up the bus stairs and made his way towards Monty, who was sitting near the front of the bus, beak in his book. I decided to sit in the seat across from them which was empty. I gazed out onto the street and watched many animals go about their day. A pink flamingo held onto an old looking briefcase passed by a short mouse wearing a pinstripe suit. I was very fascinated with what was going on in these animal's lives, I wondered where they were going, what they were like, who they used to be, I even created my ow...

Forest City Chapter 4 -Old Stairs-

The next two weeks went by too quickly. I decided to try and stay inside with Aunt Hazel, I would start school soon and I was not ready for what would happen next. It had been two whole weeks since Cobalt and Monty intruded into my life. I wonder what grade they were in, were they the same age as me, the same grade, same classes. These were the only two people I made an actual effort to befriend and it's been two weeks since I've seen them.     Now, here I am laying in bed, at four in the morning, I checked my digital clock, maybe it was still Sunday, nope. Dang it! It's only 4:27 in the morning. I sat up in my bed and pulled the covers off of me and the bed, maybe I can pretend to sleepwalk, or better yet, get a midnight, er, early morning snack, or maybe, I can pretend to use the bathroom. I just sat in the dark instead staring out the window, Cobalt's room was lit up, I guess he never sleeps, or maybe he's watching another movie, him and Monty like movi...

Forest City Chapter 3 -See you then-

That stupid blue wolf dare come into my room with this bird! Why I can't believe he's... apologizing. I can't believe that he is trying to apologize. I shouldn't accept this flimsy excuse of an apology, but he seems lonely, well sort of.     "I guess I'm sorry for throwing dirt in your face, I'm sorry," the wolf said coolly.     "Yeah, well I'm not buying it," I replied.     "I think the two of you started out on the wrong foot, so I am going to try and mend this broken relationship," the bird said.     "And what is your grand master plan? Monty?" the wolf asked.     Monty, the pale yellow bird, answered, "Why don't you two just get to know each other that may clear some things up and then maybe-"     "I don't think this will work at all, but okay," the wolf responded.     "Well, then, I'll just leave you to it then," Monty said coolly while walking the plank over to the ...

Forest City Chapter 2 -Planter Box-

There I was  sitting on my bed checking her window every once in a while while watching a movie I totally shouldn't be watching.  I wanted to mess with her a bit. I opened my curtains in my room and pushed up on the window. I had an evil plan brewing, I had to wait for Squirrel Girl to come back and poke her head out from behind her curtain.     I glanced out the window again, Squirrel kid was peeking out from behind the window. I scooped out a handful of dirt from the planter box on my windowsill and tossed it at her window, she ducked instantly, even though her window wasn't even open. I fell back onto my bed in a fit of maniacal laughter.     She opened the window and shouted, "Hey! That's not nice to do to your new neighbour!"     "So what!" I called back in reply. I scooped up another handful of dirt, this time I hit her square in the head and as the dirt flew in the air I yelled, "Welcome to Forest City Squirrelie!" -----...

Forest City Chapter 1 Part 2 -New Life-

Either the room is spinning or that's just the ceiling fan. Hazel and dad were leaning over me. I must have tripped over the my tail then the coffee table. Small shards of tea cup lay scattered across the wood flooring. I sat up on the plush white carpet beneath me, now stained in tea, that's going to leave a big stain.     "My tea set, the carpet!" Hazel cried, "I was hoping the ladies and I could have a lovely afternoon, now it's all ruined!"     "You might have to take it to the dry cleaning, Hazel," dad replied, "Mac, I'll be leaving now, please don't break anything and your stuff is in your new room."     I felt sick, now dad was going to leave me, what else could I break. I glanced around the room, a china cabinet, the window, the TV mounted on the wall, I could break anything. If I wasn't so clumsy, none of this would have happened.     "Do you have a clean shirt?" I asked dad, "I think there...
