Forest City 4 Chapter 12 -Reconcile-
I was surprised and shocked to see Monty here, I thought him and Cobalt both had a falling out, but turns out, Monty showed up after all.
"I'll se those in the kitchen for you," Hazel offered and took the flowers back to the kitchen.
"So, I began, are your dads here as well?" I started.
"They couldn't make it this time," Monty answered, "it would be nice if you could meet them."
I felt Cobalt take my hand, regret and sorrow filled his deep blue eyes.
"Listen, I'm sorry for everything I have done," Monty apologized, "I was wrong, I shouldn't have let my jealousy get the best of me."

"Aw, thanks dad," I replied, "I'm sure we'll enjoy them anyway."
Cobalt made his way over to my parents and I. He then asked an embarrassing question, "So, Mr. and Mrs. Summerwood, what was Mac like when they were little?"
"Ah she..." dad began, mom eyeballed a stern look, "they were a handful alright always getting into trouble and stealing all of the harvest."
"Oh, Cobalt was the same," Mr. Lupin cut in with gritted teeth he said, "always getting into trouble."
Cobalt glanced at his father, something didn't seem quite right anymore.
"Can we step outside," Cobalt insisted...
