Forest City 3 Epilogue
"Too bad the shelves of the library 'ave 'oles in 'em!" Tora yelled in the streets.
"So he told Cobalt," Midge replied.
"Yea' right! That little scumbag'll 'ave another 'hospital bill when I'm done wit' 'em," Tora shouted again.
"Be quiet, he's coming," Midge hushed the huge tiger.
Tora balled his massive hands into fists, he then cracked his knuckles and said, "Say the word Bonn."
"Don't call me that," she protested.
Monty came around the corner, only to be met with Tora's massive fists to his face, Monty fell to the ground trying to find his glasses. The sun was setting and a familiar light of the street lamp shone above the meek little bird beneath the dim lighting. He had already been through enough this week, he didn't need anymore from Tora.
They hadn't noticed the tall, handsome deer come around the corner, on the other side of the sidewalk, he had crossed over from the street when he saw Tora punch Monty. The deer proceeded to push Tora out of the way and scare off Bonnie and Midge. That's when Tora tried to push the deer onto the sidewalk, the deer punched the tiger in his jaw and Tora dropped down to the sidewalk, knocked out cold.
The tall deer picked up Monty's now broken glasses and offered his hand to the bird. Monty instantly recognized who the deer was and gasped his eyes wide open, "Caspian!"

Finals were officially over for this semester, I was over at dad's house wishing them safe travels because Mac already said goodbye to Hazel. They would be over at their parents house for the rest of Winter Break. I would miss them of course, but they were homesick and I wouldn't want Mac to feel that way.
"I hope you don't miss me too much," Mac replied, standing in the doorway of my dad's house, I was staying here for the weekend and it was convenient.
"Oh I'll miss you," I replied, "More than anything."
Mac's dad honked the horn in his beat up, red pickup truck.
Give us a minute! I thought to myself and said, "It'll only be for two weeks."
"Yeah," Mac's voice trailed off, "But, I needed this, a break from Forest City would be nice for a little while."
I let out a little bit of laughter then replied, "Yeah, I think we could all use a break from this city."
Mac pulled me in for a big hug, it should have lasted forever, but their dad was in a hurry to leave. Mac turned around and waved at me one more time before getting into that old pickup truck. I waved to them one last time, for the next two weeks would feel like a millennium. My smile quickly turned into a sad frown, I knew Mac would come back, but things weren't on good terms with me and the city.
I closed the apartment door, my dad sat down at the kitchen table, drinking coffee, and reading the newspaper, I leaned on the door and spoke, "Looking for a new job?"
Dad glanced back at me, behind some rectangular glasses, he closed his eyes and nodded, returning back to his newspaper.
This past month had been one of his worst, I wanted to feel sorry for him, but a piece of me just feels nothing about the whole situation, it just happened. Perhaps I just became desensitized to the whole ordeal, either that or... maybe I felt a sense of karma. I stayed at the doorway digging my boots in the brown carpet of the hallway.
"Cobalt," dad started, "I'm sorry."
(Note for when I draw this, show Cobalt reacting to this by having his ears perk up and his eyes widen a little from being closed a little. Show him being surprised and a little shocked.)
