Forest City 4 Chapter 10 -Love-

Later that night, mom came out to the living room to chat, I was trying to flip through the channels to find something to watch: a rated R superhero movie, more cartoons, or a cheap religious movie rerun.     She started, "The party's tomorrow right?"     I nodded my head trying to ignore what happened earlier that day.     "I'm sorry that he tried to ask about it," mom apologized.     "It's just that I thought that Bonnie and I were through forever, that we would stop talking, but lately..." I paused, "it seems like she's been trying to wedge herself in Mac and my relationship." I hadn't told mom what happened at the dance and I'm sure she wouldn't appreciate it either.     "Do you remember what your father said to me when Bonnie broke up with you?" mom asked.     "It was the first year after you had divorced, of course I do," I admitted, "But I can't seem to remember that year ...

Forest City 4 Chapter 9 -The Show-

Even though I was nervous about coming on the show, I had a feeling it was going to be easy or at least not as nerve racking. Mom and I stood at the recording room door as the sign above indicated it was time for us to come in the room. I sat down at one of the various chairs, a microphone stood above each spot.     "This is Cobalt, my son," mom started talking to the other host, we weren't on air yet, but they talked anyway.     "Nice to meet you Cobalt, I'm Ron," said a large rhinoceros from across the room, he gestured for me to sit at one of the seats.     "So, how does this work exactly?" I asked while sitting down making sure to not mess up the microphone above me.     "I ask you questions, you answer," Ron didn't come off as being particularly interested, but he didn't come off as rude.     "Looks like we're on air in 30 seconds," mom continued. She looked over at me and smiled.  ...

Announcement 9/4/21

So, I'm lagging a little behind on the blog posts, I knew this was going to happen with school and all, I've gotten a lot of homework and I'm helping out with tech crew for the fall play (I will also do the spring musical as well) and I haven't had a lot of time for myself lately. So, I'm sorry for not being able to work on as many chapters as I hope to.     Another thing, I have Chapter 9 and 10 done for Book 4, but the schedule is a little weird for Chapter 10 because it will be posted on the 9th instead of the 10th. I'm giving a three day period since September 11th is on Saturday and I want to not post in that time frame out of respect.     Thank you for understanding     -City Council P.S. I haven't also been able to work from my school computer since I'm not allowed to post stuff on Juliet's account due to it being my school account and Blogger making student accounts practically useless.

Forest City 4 Chapter 8 -New Year-

New years came and went, I never expected anything super grand happening. Everyone made resolutions for the next year and never went out and actually did them. I dreaded New years, mostly because it's always loud and people around me are super annoying about resolutions, like: get a date or get super buff or take a vacation.     Mac 8:30: Happy new years!!! <3     Cobalt 8:30: Happy new years to you too! How has your break been?     Mac 8:32: Well, it started out stressful, but I think my dad is starting to accept me again.       Joy flushed over my head after reading that text, I'm glad that Mac's father is beginning to understand them more.     Cobalt 8:33: That's amazing, I can't wait to see you again.     Mac 8:34: Me too! <3      Dread for tomorrow crept up behind me in the form of my mother.     "It's time to get up Cobalt, I made br...
