Forest City Book 5 Chapter 17 -Cast and Crew List-
As Cobalt and I made our way to the office, a crowd of students gathered around the office. I had to stand on my tip toes to see what they were clamoring about the office for, a large piece of paper and a small piece of paper. Several students were pointing, several of them were scoffing.
“Oh yeah,” Cobalt simply began, “the director only told Midge and I that we were the leads and wanted the rest to be a surprise.”
Monty cut between Cobalt and I, he butted in, “I’m in charge of the lights this year!”
“That’s awesome!,” I practically yelled.
The crowd finally settled down enough so that we could see Midge and Bonnie standing next to the comically large cast paper and the comically small crew paper. Midge glared threateningly at Cobalt, Bonnie waved in my direction. I smiled and waved back.
Toni coolly slid by Cobalt and stood by Bonnie, Toni waved at us and asked Bonnie, “Did you get the part?”
“I did!” Bonnie squealed, she was practically jumping up and down, “I can’t wait to portray Tybalt!”
“Congrats on getting the parts in the play you guys!” Toni practically shouted, “Good luck with the lights this year Monty!”
“Are you helping out this year?” I asked Toni.
“Heck yeah, I’m helping them build the sets!” Toni replied.
Suddenly the door to the office opened, forcing the conversation to end. Mrs. Chordata stood in the entrance to the office and her amber eyes met my light brown eyes.
