Forest City 4 Chapter 14 -To the Park-

    Cobalt darted out of the front door, leaving the door open, I struggled to get myself free so I could go after him, turns out Monty had the same idea.

    "Where do you think he went?" I asked while we turned around the block.

    Mr. Lupin had caught up with us in incredible time, he glanced around the block, "He probably went to the park," he said and began to start sprinting again, his plume-like tail brushed up between Monty and I.

    "To the park?" I asked.

    "If he insists," Monty replied.

    Monty led me to the park and replied, "Did I ever tell you what Cas, Cobalt and I used to do here?"

    "I don't think so?" I replied, "that was like ages ago."

    "I probably should tell you what the significance is to this place then..."

    "Cas, are you sure this place is still even opened?" I questioned.

    "Oh it ought to be, if not then we can always lift you over the fence and get you to open the gates," Tora threatened jokingly.

    "We might have to," Cobalt teased, he tossed a bobby pin into the bushes.

    "Hey! That's mine!" Midge stepped in and grabbed it from the brush, "not too dirty," she shoved Cobalt aside and made her way into the park.

    Cobalt took Bonnie's hand and they both made their way after Midge. Tora made his way in after the couple and Cas stepped aside and let me go first. We made our way to the playground, in the daytime, it usually was full of bright colors, but in the night it looked all washed out and dark. Bonnie and Cobalt took a seat on the swings, Midge found a bench to sit on, Cas made his way to the top of the jungle gym, Tora found a spot on the teeter totter, and I made my way to the bottom of the slide.

    "Ugh there's no cell service here," Midge began.

    "Don't worry about it, besides we're here to talk, not be on our phones," Cas declared at the top of the jungle gym.

    "Want me to tag it?" Cobalt asked.

    Cas shook his head, "This is a playground by day and our place by night, there is no need to tag it because no one will be here-"

    "HEY! WHAT ARE YOU KIDS DOING HERE!" a grumpy voice shouted from the fence where we all came in.

    Cobalt immediately took off in a sprint, followed by Cas, Tora helped the girls get over the brick walls of the park and presumably himself as well. I managed to climb up the side of the slide and hid inside of it to avoid being found.

    It took about an hour for the security guard to find me and I knew that my life was over.

    It was around 3:52 when Aunt Hazel and I arrived back at her apartment. She has 8 minutes to get ready for tea with the ladies and I had already made my way up the stairs and into my room, remembering to not hit my head on the ceiling. I gazed out the window, hoping that Cobalt would be waiting, his lights were off and I didn't get to see his handsome blue eyes. Forest City 2 Chapter 1 -October-

    It has been a month since Bonnie's disastrous birthday party, she hasn't talked to me since then, I don't blame her. I stepped over a few piles of dirty laundry in my room and opened my big dresser and all of it's glorious drawers. As a kid, I used to play in dresser drawers, I mostly rummaged through my parents and sisters dressers looking for something fun in them. I never was allowed in my brother's rooms, but I'm sure all that I'd find in their dressers are a bunch of old superhero comics or... I don't know... nut free snack foods. My brother Sorrel is a topic of conversation, he's deadly allergic to tree nuts, which is ironic because, well, we're squirrels. I threw that thought out of my brain, none of my clothes were clean, all my drawers were empty, and most importantly, Aunt Hazel was out of town.
