Forest City 4 Chapter 1 -Too Late-

    I shuffled back to my room, I couldn't believe he tried apologizing to me, after all these years! I should have said something, but he just sat there and cried, and I stood there and watched. I could tell he was desperate for something, maybe a reaction... I guess he hasn't changed. I can't help but not forgive him, he just expects me to forget all the things he said to me and move on, no... I can't do that. My phone buzzed as I shut my bedroom door behind me, a text from Mac. I opened up the message.

    A picture of pecan pie sat on my phone screen, they got home okay, that's great, it was only an hour long drive from Forest City to the farm, I wondered if it were possibly that I could steal dad's car and leave this city for good, meet them and their family. Then another text buzzed on my phone.

    Monty 10:42: U up?

    I struggled to come up with a response...

    Cobalt 10:45: Yeah, what do you want?

    Monty 10:47: Listen I'm sorry for what I did I thought you would understand...

    Cobalt 10:48: No, Im tired of hearing about Bonnie, there is going to be no more of this drama between her and I, stop talking to her!

    Monty 10:50: Caspians home...

    I put my phone down on my desk, he HAS to be lying, Cas went off to college, said he was never coming back to this city, EVER. I felt a flood of dread flush my face, I felt slightly embarrassed. No one should ever know about me and Cas! EVER!

    Cobalt 10:53: What is Bonnie going to do?

    Monty 10:54: She wants to be ur girlfriend again...

    Cobalt 10:55: No! I don't want to be with her.

    Monty 10:58: She hates Cas too so she is either trying to ruin your life or his or both of your lives but its not like she can pull the "Cobalt likes guys" card because everyone knows that

    Cobalt 10:59: What about Cas... she never mentioned that Cas was the one I had a crush on right?

    Monty 11:00: I'm afraid not

    Cobalt 11:00: Which means...

    Monty 11:01: Shes going to spread that lie about Cas

    Cobalt 11:03: We need to do the same about Bonnie, find something out about her and use it against her.

    Monty 11:05: Hey Cobalt I dont really know how I feel about blackmailing a poor teen girl

    Cobalt 11:06: Oh, this isn't blackmail, this is getting Bonnie expelled...

    Monty 11:07: I dont like the sound of this

    Cobalt 11:08: Oh trust me, I know some things about her that she would probably be expelled for.

    Monty 11:11: Dont do this Cobalt youll be considered just as bad in fact I think that you would be considerd worse than her now you wouldnt like that would you

    Cobalt 11:12: Wait a second... you're not Monty 

    Monty 11:13: No Im the real Monty I have proof

    Cobalt 11:14: -Cobalt has blocked Monty's number- 

    Monty wouldn't make that many mistakes, even if he was trying to be casual about it, I opened up my laptop and shot a quick email to Monty. I closed it and flopped down on my bed, I glanced at the time on my digital clock, 11:21 PM. I put some earbuds in to block out the sounds of the city.

    It was around 3:52 when Aunt Hazel and I arrived back at her apartment. She has 8 minutes to get ready for tea with the ladies and I had already made my way up the stairs and into my room, remembering to not hit my head on the ceiling. I gazed out the window, hoping that Cobalt would be waiting, his lights were off and I didn't get to see his handsome blue eyes. Forest City 2 Chapter 1 -October-

    It has been a month since Bonnie's disastrous birthday party, she hasn't talked to me since then, I don't blame her. I stepped over a few piles of dirty laundry in my room and opened my big dresser and all of it's glorious drawers. As a kid, I used to play in dresser drawers, I mostly rummaged through my parents and sisters dressers looking for something fun in them. I never was allowed in my brother's rooms, but I'm sure all that I'd find in their dressers are a bunch of old superhero comics or... I don't know... nut free snack foods. My brother Sorrel is a topic of conversation, he's deadly allergic to tree nuts, which is ironic because, well, we're squirrels. I threw that thought out of my brain, none of my clothes were clean, all my drawers were empty, and most importantly, Aunt Hazel was out of town.
