Forest City 3 Chapter 12 -Just Breath-

    I couldn't possibly wait all through class, Botany came around and I still couldn't believe what happened. Monty was in the hospital!? I just felt so anxious to hear about my friend being hurt or it could be worse than I imagined.

    "Mac dear, tell me what seems to be botherin' you," Ms. Aves asked in class.

    "I just feel so upset, my friend has been mad at me because we haven't included him and now," I couldn't seem to finish myself.

    "Breath dahling, breath," Ms. Aves continued, "Let us all take ah trip outside to take ah break today. You all are very 'ard workers and I tink we could use ah break. Mkay?"

    Greeeat! We get to go outside, it's cold. We decided to instead, go out to the school's greenhouse, there were some fruits and vegetables growing out here for the AG class.

    "Mx. Mac, tell me what 'as been troublin' you lately," Ms. Aves continued the conversation.

    "Well, that same friend got hurt and went to the hospital," I replied.

    "The 'ospital!?" Ms. Aves said in shock, "Which one?"

    "Monty, that's why he's absent today," I replied.

    "Oh because fo' a second dere, I tought you were talkin' 'bout Cobalt. You know dat boy."

    I always found Ms. Aves's voice to be kind of soothing and a little intimidating. I was never sure where she was from, but it intrigued me.

    "I'm not sure what happened, but I feel awful, I've been awful to him lately, I tried apologizing to him, but he never accepted, and-"

    "Breeeeeath," Ms. Aves whispered into my ears, "It weel all be okay."

    "What should I do?" I asked.

    "Give heem a visit," She answered, "Spend some time weeth 'im."

    "I'll do that! Just him and me, and maybe Cobalt," I replied.

    "You know 'ow birds ah weeth deir leetle teeny bones," Aves replied.

    The greenhouse was so peaceful and sound, I decided, that instead of doing anything in particular, that I was going to wind down and read a book I had "stolen" from the apartment.

    It was around 3:52 when Aunt Hazel and I arrived back at her apartment. She has 8 minutes to get ready for tea with the ladies and I had already made my way up the stairs and into my room, remembering to not hit my head on the ceiling. I gazed out the window, hoping that Cobalt would be waiting, his lights were off and I didn't get to see his handsome blue eyes. Forest City 2 Chapter 1 -October-

    It has been a month since Bonnie's disastrous birthday party, she hasn't talked to me since then, I don't blame her. I stepped over a few piles of dirty laundry in my room and opened my big dresser and all of it's glorious drawers. As a kid, I used to play in dresser drawers, I mostly rummaged through my parents and sisters dressers looking for something fun in them. I never was allowed in my brother's rooms, but I'm sure all that I'd find in their dressers are a bunch of old superhero comics or... I don't know... nut free snack foods. My brother Sorrel is a topic of conversation, he's deadly allergic to tree nuts, which is ironic because, well, we're squirrels. I threw that thought out of my brain, none of my clothes were clean, all my drawers were empty, and most importantly, Aunt Hazel was out of town.
